Greetings from the new president Myanmar Cardiac Society

Dear Colleagues, Fellows, and Members of the Myanmar Cardiac Society,

It is with great honor and a deep sense of responsibility that I assume the role of President of Myanmar Cardiac Society for the upcoming term (2026-2028). I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my predecessor Professor Nwe Nwe for their exceptional leadership and for setting a foundation of excellence.

As we look toward the future, the field of cardiology continues to evolve rapidly.

Our mission remains to provide the best standard of care, foster innovative research, and improve patient outcomes. In my term, I am committed to:

• Enhancing Educational Opportunities: Expanding access to training in the latest cardiovascular advancements.
• Strengthening Collaboration: Fostering deeper partnerships between clinicians, researchers, and allied health professionals.
• Advocacy & Outreach: Ensuring our society serves as a leading voice in public heart health.
